Known for its refreshing qualities, this oil is said to help fight fatigue and revitalize both body and mind. It is also used as a natural way to keep pets free of fleas and ticks. Lemongrass contains citral, the main compound found in lemon peel, giving it its distinct citrus aroma. The oil is believed to relieve jet lag, headaches, nervous exhaustion, and stress. It stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, supporting faster recovery from illness, and encourages glandular secretions. Lemongrass oil is known to tone muscles and tissue, offering relief from muscle pain. Additionally, it is used to treat sore throat, laryngitis, and fever, and can help prevent the spread of infections. It supports digestion and is beneficial for conditions such as colitis, indigestion, and gastroenteritis.
